You will need a male for your kiwi to bear fruit. The Tomuri is an ideal match for the Vincent female. One male plant is adequate to pollinate up to 8 female plants if it's centrally located. If planted in rows, a male can pollinate 3-4 females. Female plants produce fruit. Male plants do not produce fruit.
Dormant Stage
During the cold and dark of fall and winter, this plant goes into dormancy, so your order may arrive with no leaves. No fear. This is an important part of the growing cycle in which the plant is strengthening its root system. It's still a healthy plant that will begin growing new leaves in spring when there is more light and warmer temperatures during the day and night.

IT IS ALSO POSSIBLE FOR SOME OR ALL OF THE LEAVES TO FALL OFF DURING OR SOON AFTER SHIPMENT. IT IS ALSO COMMON FOR SOME OF THE LEAVES TO GET BENT OR BROKEN DURING SHIPMENT. THIS IS NO CAUSE FOR ALARM!!! AS LONG AS THE MAIN STEM IS NOT BROKEN AND IS HEALTHY LOOKING THE PLANT WILL BE FINE. IF THE PLANT ARRIVES WILTED WATER IT AND PLACE IT IN SHADE IT WILL RECOVER SOON.
