Terms and Conditions:

Hope's Flower Garden Promises:

Your plant will arrive viable and healthy, as described and within the size range shown. Your order will be carefully and securely packaged for transit. It is guaranteed to arrive at the address on the order, safely and in a good and healthy condition. We will ship anywhere in the United States all year round. However, buyers in northern climates may want to consider waiting until the danger of freezing has passed.

Buyers responsibilities:

It is the buyer’s responsibility to make sure that the shipping address is correct on the order. It is the buyer’s responsibility to make sure that the package(s) are tracked carefully and to be available to retrieve the package immediately upon arrival. Plants will die if they are not retrieved and opened immediately! Also, it is the buyer’s responsibility to check the temperature in their area before buying.

Packaging and Shipping of your plant(s):

We have been shipping plants all over the country, all year round for many years. Your plant(s) will be very carefully inspected, well prepared, and carefully packaged for the journey to its new home. You should be able to find out which shipping carrier (UPS, USPS, FedEx, etc.) is delivering your order, from your order receipt under “package tracking.” If you would like to know your shipping carrier and are unable to find out from your order receipt, please feel free to email us at hopesflowergarden@aol.com. Also, shipping time does vary, and we are seeing longer transit time these days. We ship orders twice a week, usually at the beginning of the week and toward the end of the week. We do not ship on holidays or weekends. Sometimes there may be a delay in shipping due to bad weather, but it rarely happens. We do not offer heat packs, so please be mindful of temperatures in your area during winter. We do not ship outside of the United States. Generally, the availability of listed plants are in inventory and are available for immediate shipment. However, we might occasionally have an error in inventory that would result in an “out of stock” situation, in which your order would have to be cancelled. However, this rarely happens.

Limited Warranty:

Your plant will be well prepared and packaged securely for the trip and guaranteed to arrive to you safely and in a good, healthy, viable condition. In the unlikely event that your order is lost or damaged in shipping, we will, at our option, either refund or replace your plants. Some minor damage in shipping is to be expected and is not considered to be a defect. Shippers can sometimes handle cargo roughly, however, your plants will be well packaged and protected to every extent possible and guaranteed to arrive alive in good condition. A few things are just inherent in shipping live plants, and they are normal, expected, temporary, and not considered to be a defect in the product. Please note: 

  • A few branches may be broken (it's ok, as they will grow back) 

  • Some leaves may turn yellow and fall off (it's ok, as they will grow back)

  • A few spots may appear on the leaves (it's ok, as light and fresh air will cure the problem)

Any issues with your order will be handled quickly and courteously, but it is important that you let us know the day your shipment arrives, and that you document the problem with a photo and brief explanation. Failure to notify us within 24 hours of the problem with the condition of the plant on arrival, voids this warranty. If you have an issue with your order, please contact us directly through our email at hopesflowergarden@aol.com or on our "Contact Us" page. If necessary, we will, at our option, either replace or refund the order. Claims for shipping related issues made more than 24 hours following delivery, may be rejected. This is because plants are perishable and living, and we cannot control the environment or care they receive, once they arrive to their new homes. Also, we are not able to guarantee the survival or growth of plants, after they are delivered and planted. However, we do guarantee plants to be the species and cultivar as described in the listing, within recognized industry tolerances. Plants are guaranteed to arrive at their destination in a good and healthy condition. 

No other warranties or guarantees of survival, growth, or fitness for any particular purpose are expressed or implied. Remedy under this warranty is strictly limited to the replacement of the merchandise or refund of the purchase price, at our option/discretion. Our liability under this warranty is strictly limited to the purchase price of the plant(s). Under no circumstances shall we be liable or be liable for damages in excess of the purchase price, including for any special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages. Placement of the order(s) and acceptance of the merchandise constitutes acceptance of these terms. 

Returns:

Return shipping of perishable, live plants is generally not feasible, or allowed under the policies of our state regulators, therefore returns cannot be accepted. In the event of serious, verified transit damage (as outlined in the Limited Warranty section above), a return is generally not required. 

Cancellations:

We can not cancel an order, once it has been packaged and shipped. No returns will be accepted.

Shopping Information:
Also, when shopping, if you see a product that is "sold out", please check back within 24-48 hours, and most likely will be available again. And please feel free to contact Hope's Flower Garden, if you are wanting more than what is showing available! We can usually accommodate special requests, unless we are very low or sold out of that particular variety being requested.

Basic Care Instructions (before package is delivered):
Always retrieve packages from the mail as soon as it is delivered. If left in mailbox during freezing temperatures, it will kill the plant(s). If left in mailbox during extreme heat, it will kill the plant(s). Please do not leave package out in extreme heat or in the cold (below 50F). The plant(s) will die. Plants must be protected from cold and hot temperatures.

PLEASE NOTE: When considering buying our plants, please note that the pictures showing the sizes of plants for sale is only an example of the approximate size you will get. Height and fullness does vary. You will receive a STARTER PLANT similar in size and height to the one pictured. Sometimes, it might be smaller, or sometimes it might be larger. Sometimes it can be a little fuller, or it could be a little less full. However, it will be a healthy well-rooted plant. If you will not be happy with one of the smaller plants (as shown on the right of picture #2), we respectfully ask you to please not buy. We always send the biggest plants first! Whatever the size you get it will be healthy and well rooted!!!

We ship within 1 week of purchase date. The plants are packaged carefully for shipment. The plant(s) needs to be taken out of the box ASAP upon delivery. Please track the package, and retrieve it as soon as it is delivered. Tracking information automatically uploads, so it will show exactly what day the package will arrive. So please make sure that you will be able to get your package as soon as it arrives. If you cannot immediately retrieve your package and open it please make arrangements for someone else to do it for you.

Hope's Flower Garden is not responsible for plants that are dead due to being left out in the mailbox in extreme heat or cold, etc.

After Your Plant(s) Arrives:
For planting and watering care instructions for growing your plant(s), please refer to the package slip in your plant package(s).

We are inspected by the state of Mississippi Agriculture Dept. We routinely spray our plants with insecticides and fungicides as preventive measures.

If you have a question, concern, or problem with your order, please use the Contact Us form to send us a message and rest assured that we will get back to you as soon as we are in the office. It is not necessary to leave multiple messages, as we try answer all messages in a timely fashion! We plan to answer messages soon (usually at the beginning of the week or towards the end of the week).

If there are any blooms in the pictures seen, these are probably older pictures of the mother plants, from which the starter plants have be taken from. So that is a similar picture of what your plant will look like when mature! Please note, that you may receive a plant that has be recently pruned! We prune in January thru July, stopping in time for buds to set in in the fall of the year.

Additional Information:
Orders are prepared and packaged for shipment on Monday afternoon's and Thursday afternoon's. Orders ship out on Tuesday mornings and Friday mornings. We are in the greenhouses working the rest of the time. Growing and caring for these plants is very time consuming, so that is where the bulk of our time is spent.

Hope's Flower Garden does not currently ship outside the United States. So please do not buy, if you are outside the United States. No exceptions.

The price is for "ONE" PLANT!!! Plants will be shipped WITHOUT POTS! Plants will be labeled by name, when they arrive.

Refund Policy:
There are no cancellations, once an order as be placed. If your plant arrives badly damaged and the care instructions were followed, please let us know by sending a message on the Contact Us page, as we are glad to assist!

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

If your plant arrives badly damaged, dead, etc., a photo proof of the box and the plant is needed within 24 hours of delivery, in order for us to send out a replacement. A leaf that comes off during shipment or minor breakage does not constitute serious damage. Replacement of the plant can happen, only if it is badly broken, crushed, etc... WE WILL ONLY REPLACE THE PLANT IF IT ARRIVES DEAD OR BADLY DAMAGED!!! WE MUST HAVE PHOTO PROOF WITHIN 24 HOURS OF ARRIVAL!!!

*Limited Conditional Warranty: Warranty is limited to guaranteeing plants will arrive safely and in good and healthy condition, and is conditioned on Seller receiving prompt notice (within 24 hours of delivery) of any problem with the condition accompanied by photo validation.
